My patience for tolerating people who would lead folks away from Christ and for those who want to make for themselves a brand new and relevant Jesus in tune with today cultural sensitivities, ended tonight.

Amen brother. I'm with you. The fear for me has always been that if I appear too forceful it will turn people off from the message. I've realized though, that playing nice just allows people to comfortably play with heresy. I now say hit 'em hard with the law and let God do His work. When they repent they get the gospel, but not a moment before.

Just wondering, did the Issues, Etc interview with Tony Jones have anything to do with your new perspective?

Thy joy and crown eternally.

We've all been a bit too tolerant lately. May God grant all of us forgiveness for our sloth and comfort, and boldness to be salt and light in this world.

Adam, I’m literally sitting next to someone who will die in a few days. No metaphors. It has put me in a foul and contemplative mood.

Frank,

May the peace of Christ be with you. Someone very close to me is in the first stages of cancer treatment and, like you, I'm finding that sadness and frustration have clarified the way I speak about the faith. There just really isn't time to tap-dance and play nice. Life is too short.

Please know that my prayers are with you, your friend, and his family.

Blessings in Christ,
Adam
