I just love it when folks, whether they are laity or of the priestly caste, set themselves up as more loving than God himself. So I guess that Jesus getting nailed to a tree was some kind of divine joke? It’s truly a shame that those who call themselves Christian can’t seem to grasp by faith the amount of love that is necessary for the Christ to lay down his life for those who, by their own merit, only deserve God’s wrath.
